Schedules

Albany Preschool is a parent cooperative. A Board of Directors composed of current parents, along with the Executive Director and teachers, administers the school. The Board hires the professional staff to develop and supervise the preschool programs, and to be in charge of the daily operation of the school.

We are licensed to have up to 30 children at a time. During free play children to flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Enrollment options:

• Mornings: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, 3, 4 or 5 mornings a week

• Afternoons: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm, 3, 4 or 5 afternoons a week

• Full day: 8 am – 6 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. For 2025-26 school year Full Day will be 9 am to 5 pm with options for extended care: 8 am drop off, and 5:30 pm or 6 pm pick up. 

The School Year Session runs mid-August to early June. The optional Summer Session runs early June to the end of July. We follow the Albany Unified School District calendar for breaks and holidays. Information on the Summer Session is released in April.
